We went Friday – Monday (April 24th to April 27th 2015)
Hikes
Trail of Ten Falls (Silver Falls S.P) -10 water falls( 9 mile hike)
or a shorter way with 7 waterfalls (about 6 miles) . Parking was about $10? There’s also a free map in the gift store to guide you. We treated this as a day trip since we had to drive over an hour from Portland to get to it.
Benson Bridge at Multnomah Falls– Short hike to the bridge in front of
the waterfall or you can also hike to the top.
Oneonta Trail – If you want to see more waterfalls you can do the
hike, its about 4-5 miles, or you can go straight in the Gorge. If you
use Google Map, Oneonta it will take you to the trail to see the waterfalls.
Oneonta Gorge
To see the Gorge you just take the stairs down the bridge and walk a
little less then half a mile. You have to walk over a couple of logs
to get to the water. If you want to see the waterfall at the end of
the gorge you are going to get wet, but its worth it! The water can
get up to 5 feet so becareful.
FYI, Multnomah, Oneonta trail and Gorge are all in the same area/road so you can easily do these in one day.
Food
Satuday/Sunday market (under Burnside Bridge) -There is a market on
Saturday and Sunday that runs March until December 24th. Its kind of like a farmers market/flea market. Great place to grab some food and/or drinks
Tasty n Alders – We went for dinner and we loved it. Kinda buzzed when we at there so couldn’t tell you exactly what we ordered but, everything looks good. Breakfast/brunch are supposed to be good also. http://www.yelp.com/biz/tasty-n-alder-portland
Toro Bravo – Spanish Tapas. We also went here for dinner and it was delicious. Theres a bar right above it that reminds me of a speakeasy if you want to check that out or kill time while you wait for your seat. http://www.yelp.com/biz/toro-bravo-portland
Lardos – Pork belly kimchee sandwich and dirty fries! http://www.yelp.com/biz/lardo-portland

Mother’s Bistro – Brunch. Reminded me of Bills Cafe in San Jose. Shaina got the salmon
hash and it was delicious and I tried “Today’s Special” . http://www.yelp.com/biz/mothers-bistro-and-bar-portland
Slappy cakes – It was just cool to be able to make our own pancakes
in front of us. They also have red velvet batter! http://www.yelp.com/biz/slappy-cakes-portland
Food trucks– We had a thai food truck but I forgot what it was
called but, you can’t go wrong with any of the food trucks in the downtown area.
Deschutes Brewery – There are a lot of breweries in Portland. Go to as many as you can and try a Flight of 6 different beers from each one.
Stumptown Coffee– I love coffee!!! I got the cold brew here and it was soo good! I usually drink coffee black so I loved it. Even if your not a huge coffee drinker, it’s still good to try something new 🙂

Heart Coffee– During the summer time they have affgato (an espresso you
pour over coconut ice cream) but if they don’t have that their vanilla
latte is still pretty good. They make all their syrups in house.
Other things to see or do
Cathedral Park– We took the long way to the airport to see St. Johns Bridge. Once you cross the bridge you can make your way under St Johns bridge. Such a pretty park under a nice bridge.
Nike Factory Outlet- NO TAX IN PORTLAND. Get cheap Nike gear even cheaper!
